3 Girl Jam Challenge No.17 Anything Goes With Ribbon

Hi Friends! Abby here, welcome back for another fun 3 Girl Jam Challenge. I'm sharing my project with all of you for our current Challenge No.17, Anything Goes With Ribbon. 

For my project I decided to create a super quick and easy bookmark using some of the yummy Merlot Crinkle Ribbon from the Wine & Jewels bundle along with a splash of color from Halloween Harvest from the Seasons Bundle.

You can use the yummy Crinkle Ribbon in so many different ways and on so many projects, even quick ones like my bookmark. I hope this gives you some ideas on how you can use your 3 Girl Jam Crinkle Ribbon.

Welcome guest designer, Karen Nofziger

Julie O here to welcome guest designer, Karen Nofziger.  Karen and I serve on two design teams together.  I was so pleased when I was given the opportunity to introduce her here on the 3 Girl JAM Challenge blog.  Karen is such an inspiration to me.  I love her work AND her positive attitude.  She can always make me smile.  Make sure you stop by her blog and leave her some love.

Here's a little bit about Karen, in her own words:

"My crafty life began around 20 years ago when my oldest son was born.  I started to scrapbook then just so I wouldn't miss any moments.  Those simple, silly scrapbooks filled with pictures, stickers and glitter are still some of my favorites.  I did scrapbooking for quite a few years.....but it wasn't until about 8 years ago when I went to a card class with my dear friend and craft mentor, Sharon, that my crafts took on a new dimension.  I don't use stickers anymore....instead, I'm hooked on stamps, twine, cool/funky paper, stickles, paint, chipboard, markers, and (of course) 3 Girl Jam Crinkle Ribbon.  As for my non-crafty life, I'm a happily-second-time-around married mom of four wonderful young men.  They are all 18 and 19 years old.  (Two are my husbands and two are mine...)  I manage arts departments at a local university, so most of my days are filled with ledgers, position descriptions, and meetings.  When I'm not crafting in the evenings or on weekends, my dear husband and I spend a lot of time on our boat on the Sacramento River.  He fishes; I read.  It works out well."

Create in me a Clean Heart

Hello all, Jovan here!  I'm so excited to share my card today!  It's just PERFECT for the FUN challenge going on now.

 Have you joined the challenge yet?  If not you should!  The challenge is to use pastel colors and ribbon...Easy right?

For my card today I used the BEAUTIFUL Aqua Splash crinkled ribbon.  This beautiful color is in the Caribbean Splash bundle.  I made a flower using a circle punch and bunching the ribbon.  The sentiment is from Word Art Wednesday.  

I love the way this card came out!  I hope you play along in the challenge.

Hi, Julie O here today from Muddy Paws & Inky Fingers, with some pastel color inspiration for you.

Have you joined in on the 3 Girl Jam pastel color with ribbon challenge yet? It's such a fun one!  I love pastel colors this time of year!  We're having snow flurries while I'm writing this post, so those soft pastel colors of spring can't come fast enough!  Here are the details:

OK, now for my inspiration to get you going.  Several of my activity department staff have birthdays in April.  I often give gift certificates to local restaurants, book stores, even convenience stores for gifts so I'm always needing gift bags and boxes.  the State Line bags for sale in the 3 Girl Jam store are perfect for altering for whatever occasion you need them for.

This bag is going to hold a gift certificate --it's the perfect size!  It has some gorgeous Goblin Green ribbon from the Spooky bundle woven through it, too.  Please visit my blog for details on how I dyed the bag pink.  I have a tutorial on there today to show you the process.  It's very easy!
